This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you ever had to sit in the back of the classroom and struggle to see the board? A mobile easel can fix the problem!

I am a first grade teacher in a low income community.

Although we may not have much financially, we are rich in academics! There are 22 motivated and hard working students in my class. They are sweet, fun loving and life long learners that already understand education is the key to success!

My Project

A mobile easel along with storage bins with lids will be a great addition to our classroom. We are planning to use the easel to display charts, artistic examples, and other written materials easily. Children will not have to suffer from an obstructed view, since I can move the easel around. The bins will be used to store dry erase markers for the easel.

Having a mobile easel will help me to teach with less difficulty since it can be moved around the room so all children can see with ease and not have to struggle to access the materials being taught.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
