Miscellaneous Music Assistance

Help me give my students the accesories needed to have fantastic performances. In particular, the Black Swamp tambourine will be an excellent addition to the percussion section.

My Students

I teach band at a fantastic high school. My students are hard-working, and always give me their best. Unfortunately, they often have to do this with sub-par equipment. Regardless my students push through and continue to give powerful performances. The growth in the program has opened many avenues for expanded musical experiences. It is a great time to be involved with the band at Waynesboro High School.

In my band program we believe the band is a family, and being a family means always giving your best effort.

My students embody this ideal and make it a joy to be in the classroom.

My Project

There is a wide variety of items in this project. Each will provide my students with the ability to expand their musical ambitions. In particular, the percussion needs will allow the band to play more advanced literature. The extended techniques require the best possible resources. I hope through this project the band can begin to expand its musical horizons.

Running a high school band program can be an expensive endeavor.

Your assistance will ease the burden on the program. I have been continually amazed by the outpouring of support for our Donors Choose projects. The musicality of the ensemble has grown leaps and bounds, and I know these additional items will continue that standard of excellence.
