My Project

The urban school that I teach at is in a historical area of the city and services a lower economic population, with 100% of the students qualifying for free lunch. The student population is composed of a diverse population that works extremely well together. My students are energetic, funny, hardworking, and have a natural curiosity about the world. The project, Miscellaneous Mania is all about getting the random materials students need in the classroom for learning.

My students need pens, mechanical pencils, markers, batteries, microgreen seeds, and mousepads to use while completing a variety of projects.

The pens and mechanical pencils are everyday supplies that my students need. Markers are used by my students to complete poster projects and batteries are needed for our MakerSpace electronics kits. The microgreen seeds will be used for students to grow and take home microgreen sprouts. Mousepads are desperately needed for students to place on desks. Students are currently using a piece of paper that does not work well and finally, the cotton candy cones will be used to make cotton candy as a reward for students.
