My Project

My students are navigating more stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges than ever before. Many of them need simple, effective tools to help regulate their emotions, build confidence, and feel safe in their bodies. This project will bring Pilates, movement, and calming strategies into our daily routine to support both mental health and physical well-being.

With your help, students will have access to yoga/Pilates mats, blocks, rings, and grip socks.

These materials will create a welcoming space where students can pause, breathe, stretch, and reset when they feel overwhelmed. Incorporating Pilates-based movement helps improve focus, body awareness, and emotional regulation—skills that directly impact success in the classroom.

When students feel calm and regulated, they are better able to learn, connect with others, and manage challenges. Many of my students do not have access to structured wellness activities outside of school. This project gives them lifelong tools to cope with stress, build resilience, and care for their mental health in a positive way.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
