Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing human beings. My students attend a school located in a low-income area. Even though resources may be a little scarce, that does not stop other educators and me from providing the best education for our students.

The supplies will be used to help my students!

The supplies, such as the markers, will help my students to engage with the content and express their creativity. My students express themselves in art, and I want to incorporate that into the curriculum this year. The items on this list will also turn my room with four walls into a safe, welcoming, and warm environment that will allow my students to bring their full selves to the class. Items like stationary will be used to help them create color-coded models and projects. Additionally, other items like candy and fun pencils will be given as rewards to incentivize students to keep trying hard. In all, I want these resources so that my students can have the best material to carry on with their work in science.
