My Students

We are a public charter school in Kansas City that believes in our students and are committed to providing them with unlimited opportunities.

Our students are bright, creative leaders who want to be challenged in the classroom.

They take ownership of their education and respect its power to change lives. We have the highest of expectations for each student because they matter....to their families, to our school, and to me.

My Project

Each week, students engage in intervention activities to help reduce their opportunity gaps. It's great to be able to offer them some snacks while we're working....it helps keep them focused, motivates them to work hard, and sometimes it just fills a need!

These treats are also used in ReadingPlus classes for students who go above and beyond to do the right thing.

Seeing their faces when I come into the class carrying a box of snacks is priceless. It's one of the best parts of my job each and every week!
