Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of the supplies requested are integral to our daily classroom life, and will also be invaluable to our end of year expo project. We will use the whiteboards and markers for checks for understanding, review/practice. Students are used to working together, making poster projects, and learning in a variety of different ways. We will use all of these supplies to restock our classroom, and more specifically, for our culminating Expo Project.

Our Expo Project will incorporate content from the whole school year, and students will get to design their dream life, analyze where our tax dollars go, and calculate a budget based on decisions they have made for their own life!

The markers, cardstock paper and printer will be used for our Expo project, where students will learn about taxes, careers and budgeting.
