This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At my school our middle schoolers are just beginning a financial literacy unit. Students are going to learn about what a budget is, how to spend money wisely, and also how to plan for their future. This game is a great way to get students thinking about how to budget their money while having fun.

Middle school is a critical time for students to begin thinking about money.

This is a great way to get students excited about math while also learning great life skills. This is my favorite unit to teach because there are an infinite number of real world examples for students to connect to.
