Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help restock my classroom care station with items that students need, such as snacks, hand wipes, toopaste and toothbrushes, chapstick, and hand lotion. My students need snacks and hygiene products to make them feel comfortable while at school. I want my classroom to serve as a place where students can ask for items that will help them feel better. Our school stops serving breakfast at 8:19 a.m., and our lunch starts at 12:54 p.m. That means that many of our students are hungry during our morning break at 10:00 a.m. Students with money can buy a snack, but that leaves our most vulnerable students with no option but to go to class hungry. The small snack items that I am requesting will help my students settle their hunger until lunchtime arrives.

My goal is to create a safe caring environment in which students can ask for food and hygiene items as needed.
