My students are 6th, 7th and 8th graders living in Central Arizona. All of our students receive 100% reduced school lunches.
The students at our school love sports and are proud to represent their school through athletics.
For many of my students, school sports are their only opportunity to be involved in sports. Unfortunately, some families can't afford the expenses for their children to play sports outside of school. Athletics is where my students create bonds with with teammates and relieve the stress of being in middle school.
My Project
The 7th and 8th Grade Baseball and Softball programs at our school are in need of equipment to practice with. Baseballs, batting tees, and nets will be used to work on throwing, hitting, fielding mechanics and techniques. The tees and nets will be essential for learning correct hitting technique.
Without proper equipment at the school, our student athletes will not be able to maximize their full potential as baseball and softball players.
Many of our athletes our trying out for sports for the first time. Please consider supporting these athletes in hopes that their love for sports and physical activity can grow.
