This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is one thing talking about cells or looking at pictures in a textbook but helping my students actually see the science in front of them will not only spark interest but also set them up for scientific exploration in high school and beyond.

Without even one working microscope in the classroom, all I can do is just talk about the amazing things we would see if we had one.

I want to help my students develop a love for science by getting a class set of microscopes and supplies to make their own slides to drive their own scientific discoveries.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
