Your contribution has provided valuable hands-on resources that bring learning to life and help students develop a deeper understanding of civic responsibility and the democratic process.\r\n\r\nThe gavel, ballot boxes, and thumbs up/down paddle boards have transformed our classroom into an interactive learning environment where students can actively participate in mock elections, debates, classroom meetings, and decision-making activities. These experiences help students understand how democracy works, the importance of voting, and how citizens can respectfully express their opinions while listening to the perspectives of others.\r\n\r\nThe social studies workbooks provide students with opportunities to strengthen their understanding of government, history, geography, economics, and civic responsibility. These resources support meaningful discussions about the rights and responsibilities of citizens and help students make connections between what they learn in class and the world around them.\r\n\r\nThe Oreos and Chips Ahoy cookies have also been valuable teaching tools. Through engaging simulations and hands-on activities, students have explored concepts such as voting, representation, compromise, and decision-making. These memorable experiences help students better understand complex social studies concepts while making learning fun and meaningful.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, students are developing important citizenship skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, respectful communication, leadership, and civic engagement. They are learning that every voice matters and that active participation is an important part of being a responsible citizen.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and helping us create meaningful learning experiences that prepare them to become informed, engaged, and responsible members of their communities. Your support has made a meaningful impact on our students' learning and growth as readers.\r\n\r\nThe set of Cat Kid books has been a wonderful addition to our classroom library. These books have provided students with opportunities to read texts that genuinely interest and engage them. Having access to high-interest books encourages students to read more frequently, builds reading stamina, and helps foster a lifelong love of reading. It has been exciting to see students eagerly choosing books and sharing their enthusiasm for reading with their classmates.\r\n\r\nWe are also incredibly grateful for the SBA preparation books. The books allowed students to strengthen important reading and test-taking skills while building confidence leading up to testing season.\r\n\r\nThe impact of these resources was evident in our results. Through hard work, dedication, and the support of these SBA preparation materials, 57% of our students met or exceeded proficiency on the SBA assessment. Many students come to school hungry or need a little extra fuel to stay focused throughout the day. Seeing a student with sensory processing needs—who often avoids fine-motor tasks—happily threading beads to represent the \"fruit\" from the book was a powerful testament to how these tactile resources bridge the gap between curiosity and skill improvement.\r\nWe are currently using the treadmill daily as a sensory input/movement break choice, and it has been essential for classroom engagement and safety while navigating the classroom as an alternative to running. Students who feel restless now have a dedicated space to self-regulate, increasing their ability to focus.
