I have selected 4 different STEM materials for my students which requires them to use critical thinking and exploration. 1) Magnetic Match Rings challenge students to solve problems using the positive and negative properties of magnets to make the magnetic rings to either repel or attract. 2) The Squishy Human Body allows students to explore how the human body works with 21 removable organs, bones and muscles. 3) Clue Master and 4) Tangram Puzzles both use critical thinking and logic to solve simple to progressively more complicated problems. THINKING through fun exploration is the goal.
