My Project

Our students are dual enrolled in high school and college courses. They will earn a high school diploma and a college associate's degree in 4-5 years, ahead of their same-aged peers. That means, long days, rigorous coursework, and higher expectations, many of them self-imposed. My school has created a space where students can remove themselves from high-stress environments, unplug, play board games, work puzzles, play ping pong, laugh together, and simply exhale.

Businesses around the world have break rooms, spaces removed from "the work" where workers can rest and refuel; students also have these needs.

This project brings healthy snacks to our student refuge. Sandwich crackers, fruit gels, and granola bars provide the fuel our students need to get them through the day. It also provides a source of grab-and-go food for students who may not have reliable food options at home.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
