This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school year comes to a close, we want to create special keepsakes for our graduating 6th graders, We plan to paint rocks with inspirational messages, school colors and graduation year details to commemorate their time with us. Each student will receive a rock, where they have the liberty to paint and decorate in class. Afterwards, we will hold a ceremony where each student places the stone under a tree in the from yard of the school, where it will b cherished and kept forever.

Graduating from elementary school is a significant milestone in every students life, these painted rocks will serve a memory of their time spent learning in our building.

Your donation will help us purchase the supplies we need to paint the rocks, including acrylic markers that will withstand any snowstorm, rain or any where that comes our way; it will serve as a great memory as our graduates grow up and walk past our school to see their stones be part of our school decor forever.
