Mats for Gymnastics and Yoga

Help me give my students high quality tumbling mats to do their gymnastics routines and yoga, making it safe for them to do rolls, balances, and inverted stunts.

My Project

Our state PE standards have gymnastics requirements from 2nd-5th grades. We don't just start there. We do yoga and gymnastics at all grade levels and for all ability levels.

Our current mats are broken down and do not add much cushion.

This makes it unsafe and uncomfortable to do stunts such as rolls, headstands, handstands, and many yoga poses.

A new set of mats would allow students to feel confident, safe and protected when trying some of the moves they want to put into their routines. These foldable mats, although primarily used for these two units, would also be used in some games and activities outside of gymnastics and yoga.
