We incorporated library book stories to learn about the dragon symbol, Lunar zodiac animals and Chinese celebrations. We then used the equipment to play games \r\n that went with the stories and lessons. Our lunch room ladies even got involved and gave out stickers with each student's animal zodiac sign.\r\n\r\nWith your donation, we played dragon tag both on the scooters and on our feet using the colored wrist bands. We also had a lesson on chop sticks and then had a relay using some small rubber chickens where we ran down grabbed the chop sticks, put the chicken in the \"pot\" and then ran back for the next person to go. We made giant chop sticks from pool noodles and wands that we had in our equipment room. With those, we picked up the foam balls we purchase with your donation and took the ball from one end of the gym to the other. It was harder than they thought, but the kids had a blast! \r\n\r\nThank you so much for making this possible!
