My Students
My students are cheerful and ready to learn. They came back to their in-person classroom very uneasy about their abilities. As the semester has progressed, their joy for learning has been elevated with each success. They have not given up and continue to do their best with each lesson.
My Project
I have created a library of books related to Math. I believe using fun literature to introduce new concepts will get students excited. I also think it is essential to support the other areas of each student's education, not just math. Many students struggle with reading, which could be a way to keep improving those skills.
I plan to start or end my class with a short read-aloud, and students may borrow the books when they want. I have found that they love storytime no matter the student's age.
