Returning to the classroom after distance learning has been a challenge. I have been able to identify differentiated learning needs of several students and with the assistance of classroom supplies the students will be able to focus and become more engaged in the lessons. I have given students an option to have a "story time" type of lesson and they were thrilled. I picked floor cushions to accommodate this activity. Students have also had issues with distractions. Many have requested a seat change, but this has not helped with the learning environment. I chose headphones to help block out those distractions, especially while the students are testing.
