This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students rely on graphing calculators every day to strengthen their understanding of algebra, functions, and real-world problem solving. These calculators run on AA batteries, and when they lose power during lessons, practice, or assessments, it interrupts learning and reduces the time students can actively engage with the material. Without immediate access to new batteries, instruction slows and valuable momentum is lost. Maintaining a consistent supply of AA batteries ensures that calculators remain powered and ready for use at all times. This simple resource supports smoother lessons, stronger focus, and greater opportunities for students to succeed in math!
