Math Minds Build Thinking Classrooms

My Project

Obtaining whiteboards and the associated resources would drastically help my students develop their perseverance and problem solving skills. The ability for them to freely write and erase perfectly coincides with the process of learning math. Students will be able to receive feedback frequently since their work can be viewed easily by their peers or teacher. The boards, markers, and erasers enrich student learning by giving them the opportunity to work collaboratively. These materials support building a thinking classroom in which students persevere and learn from their mistakes.

My goals for this project are to obtain whiteboards that will be screwed into the wall around my classroom.

I also am requesting dry erase sleeves, markers, and erasers that will complete the learning experience. My goal is that students become comfortable showing their thinking and trying new problems due to the ease of using a whiteboard.

My students are special and deserve this opportunity because they show a lot of room for growth in math, and they show commitment to learning when they receive frequent feedback and can fix their mistakes easily. They would benefit greatly from these resources which make learning fun and would improve their overall experience in math class.
