Math Fun and Sanitary Separation

My Project

I have a class of wonderful students who enjoy math. Place value is crucial throughout grade 2 and base 10 blocks are great tools to help students understand. This would allow me to have a set for each student. And if necessary, send packs home for further practice. Money is also an important skill in grade 2. Students benefit from having money to work with, and this would give each student their own set of money to use during our lessons. My goal is to reinforce the lessons in an engaging way.

My students often like to have their own "offices" during independent work time.

The privacy partitions I have now are falling apart and not able to be sanitized, as they are cardboard. The new partitions are plastic so they will be able to be cleaned after each use.
