This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I am training a group of students to complete the LA Marathon in March, 2025. I am a coach for Students Run Los Angeles, whose aim is to challenge underserved secondary students to experience the benefits of goal-setting, character development, adult mentoring and improved health by providing them with a truly life-changing experience: The training for and completion of the Los Angeles Marathon.

With your generous donation, my students will complete the marathon!

These are essential tools for long distance running, and since many of my students come from underserved backgrounds, their families don't have the means to provide these supplies to them. Your gift will truly help change my students' lives.
