This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are exceptional in every way. I teach students in grades Pre-K through 4th grade in a self-contained classroom. The Paper, laminating sheets and velcro will be used to print my curriculum and to make Task boxes in order to provide hands-on learning opportunities.

Many of my students struggle with self-regulation and the swing, stand, and kinetic sand will allow them to have opportunities to calm down when they are overwhelmed.

My students love to do hands on activities! Having the materials to create that environment will help my students succeed and learn academic and life skills. The swing will be beneficial to them and provide activity for indoor recess and a calming area for self-regulation.
