My Students

My students are funny, hard-working, enthusiastic individuals who come together to make beautiful music...and they LOVE it!

My high school students are willing to try new techniques, laugh at themselves, learn when they make mistakes in my class, and always strive to do their best to perfect their individual musical skills and knowledge.

Every day, they display courage, the desire to learn, and a joy for music! It is such a joy and a privilege to work with these young musicians!

My Project

COVID-19 has made the chorus classroom quite the challenge. It has been disheartening for me and my students to learn music without singing in the classroom or performing outside of the classroom in concerts or festivals.

Masks have made it possible for us to sing again!

This year, we are singing in the classroom, masked and distanced appropriately, and we are having concerts again! We just completed our All County Choral Clinic in October and our Winter Concert in December, and it was truly magical!

We all want our students to be able to learn and express themselves through music, but also be safe. Please, help us make that happen by helping me provide them with masks that will allow for easier breath flow for their singing while also keeping the germs from spreading.
