Help me give my students, a chance to learn to use the most up to date form of shooting videos and photos with using a drone and also extra instruments so they can play a part!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Mardi Gras Drone!!!!
I have the opportunity of teaching music students ranging from grades 5-8th grades.
The students love music and other tools used with marching and entertainment! My students have the chance to expose them to the marching band culture in New Orleans and also the technology involved in recording and videos. Knowing that all students are not interested in just music I would like to give them the other side which is videoing so that they can see how visual aspects play a part in music also !!!
My Project
These tools will make a huge difference in the lives of students who work hard in learning the marching traditions of New Orleans and give them a chance to be to learn valuable lessons that will stay with them for a lifetime.
I see that learning how to use drones for Mardi Gras parades to video the school band can open their minds to alternate career paths by gathering skills in photography and video editing.
In our city, my students can become leaders in utilizing technology for Arts and entertainment purposes!
Also by gaining extra instruments, it will give me a chance to teach basic skills in music in which the students can take with them to become a hobby or even professional musicians.
So with your help, you will be helping students learn multiple sides of the entertainment business in a city that thrives through the arts.
