These tools will make a huge difference in the lives of students who work hard in learning the marching traditions of New Orleans and give them a chance to be to learn valuable lessons that will stay with them for a lifetime. I see that learning how to use drones for Mardi Gras parades to video the school band can open their minds to alternate career paths by gathering skills in photography and video editing. In our city, my students can become leaders in utilizing technology for Arts and entertainment purposes! Also by gaining extra instruments, it will give me a chance to teach basic skills in music in which the students can take with them to become a hobby or even professional musicians. So with your help, you will be helping students learn multiple sides of the entertainment business in a city that thrives through the arts.
