My Project

My students love to participate in reading challenges and explore new authors and genres in their school library. Our library is a busy place that serves all of the students in grades PK through 5 and provides curriculum support as well as independent reading resources for all students.

March Madness is a great way to really ramp up the excitement in reading.

We have been really working hard to build excitement for reading in the library this year. We have reorganized the library to make it special, kid-friendly, and welcoming. We added the Global Read Aloud and the North Carolina Children's Book Awards program so far this year as well as a You've Been Book'd program. I want to continue growing the excitement for books by participating in the March Madness for Books 2023.
