My Project

It is time for March Book Madness! The MBM program is something I have participated in all the years I have taught and there are multiple reasons for it. The books selected for MBM are diverse in the best of ways. You have nonfiction, fiction, diverse stories about people from different place, with different abilities and a plethora of experiences.

Students love hearing the stories and the excitement grows when we get to vote on them each week in March to decide which one will take the title for the year.

While we read these books we get to practice identifying the different story elements and even researching more on different topics. These books help to keep my classroom library engaging for all my students.
