My Project

Many students learn best in a work, reward type system. (Especially those who I teach that are special education.) In my inclusion classroom, we learn from trial and error. We reward when we succeed, and we try again when we don't get it the first time. Having rewards to keep the attention and engagement of the students is crucial.

Utilizing the teaching manipulatives like the ten-frames I have included on my list will not only allow for student learning, but it will also encourage student autonomy.

Rewarding those behaviors and skills will be followed up with some of the treats and special activities (like the Lego set) included on the list. Storing these items is also crucial since bugs are a big problem in Hawaii.
