My Project

My Pre-K scholars are curious, energetic learners who thrive when they can explore new concepts through books, conversation, movement, and hands-on discovery. They love asking questions, sharing observations, and making connections between what we read and what they experience. This project will transform our study of the ocean into an engaging learning experience that brings science to life.

The ocean animal books will build background knowledge, vocabulary, oral language, and comprehension.

The realistic ocean animals, shells, coral, and fossil replicas will allow students to observe, compare, sort, count, classify, and describe what they notice. These materials will also support imaginative play and give students meaningful opportunities to practice communicating and working with classmates.

The clear storage bins will help organize the materials into accessible learning tubs that students can use during small groups, science exploration, and independent centers. The bins will make it easier for scholars to select materials, care for them, and return them independently. With your support, our young scientists will be able to read, investigate, create, and develop a deeper understanding of ocean life through joyful learning.
