Making Technology More Accessible in Our Classrooms
Help me give my students wireless keyboards and USB extension cables so that students and teachers alike can utilize and project their technology from anywhere in the room!
My school district is one of the most diverse districts in the state of Missouri. We provide dedicated teachers and a safe learning environment so that students of all backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic levels can receive an education in a place where they are cared for and respected. We strive to connect our students and their families with lots of resources to ensure that their basic needs are being met outside of the school as well.
As a school counselor, I know all too well that my students have experienced plenty of hardships, including but not limited to trauma, hunger, and homelessness.
However, despite their many obstacles, my students come to school each day ready to learn and start fresh. They are a group of bright, resilient young people who are so incredibly deserving of your donation.

My Project
These materials will be used by students and teachers so that they can use their computers to project and present information from anywhere in the room. This will make technology much easier to utilize in the classrooms.
Our teachers will be able to better instruct their students with this added technology because whether they are up at the board, in the back of the room, or circulating around the tables, they can have their technology at their fingertips!
With the wireless keyboards and USB extender cables, they will save themselves many trips to and from their laptops, which will ultimately increase the time available for them to provide their students with direct English instruction.
