My Students

Despite the challenges of 2020, the students I work with are happy and ready for the day when they arrive at 8:30. I am lucky to work with each class once a week for 45 minutes. During the short time I have with my students, I try very hard to make each lesson informative, educational, and fun!

Whether it be paint, paper, or pencil, the students make beautiful works of art with their impressive talent and the generous materials that we have been gifted from Donors Choose projects.

In my class, I focus on teaching my students not only about holidays but also about famous artists. Watching art come alive through the eyes of my students makes me excited to go to work everyday!

My Project

This year has been quite a doozy! Our students look forward to art each week and I look forward to teaching them! The materials that I have requested will go a long way in making some beautiful projects for students to bring home to their families for the holidays.

Each grade level will be involved in many different projects that they will in turn bring home as gifts.

The children already know about a few of the projects coming up and these materials will make the season of giving even more special.
