I want to make art come alive for all of our students by giving them a chance to use many different materials for their projects. Our school has a lot of empty walls, or as I see them, blank canvases! I plan to fill them with lots of student based murals, some with class projects and others with whole school projects. I want to transform the way students think about art and open up their creative sides by using various materials including clay, paper, cardboard, and metal. Art should be about allowing your mind to flow freely and to capture those thoughts on material. With your help, I can make those ideas come alive!
