My Project

Items that make students comfortable while discussing social and emotional learning topics that can be awkward, helps to make our classroom a true community. I have noticed that when students are comfortable, they seem less reluctant to share their personal connections to our social and emotional topics.

My goal for this project is to have students know that our classroom space is safe, comfortable, and open.

It is a place that they should know they can talk to me and their classmates, and their differences will be respected by all.

My students are so special because they have huge hearts and accept others easily.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
