Making Our Mark: High School Artists Create

Help me give my students the opportunity to create a collaborative, large-scale mural that will transform a school wall into a meaningful work of art.

My Project

My students are creative, unique, and full of ideas, and I love seeing their confidence grow when they are given the opportunity to create something meaningful.

As a Title I school serving many students from low-income households, access to quality art materials and creative experiences can make a meaningful difference.

This project will give my students the opportunity to work together to transform a blank school wall into a collaborative mural. The art resources will allow them to explore color, composition, design, and large scale painting while developing teamwork, problem solving, and craftsmanship skills.

Most importantly, students will see their ideas become a lasting part of their school community and know that their voices, creativity, and talents matter.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
