Help me give my students a Construct A Letter Activity set as well as other hands-on letter and number building sets so that they can have a more concrete knowledge of letters and numbers.
My students are energetic and loving. They love their teachers and they love to learn new things. As kindergartners, they are learning all about their numbers and letters. Many have come to school without much background knowledge and get so excited each day they get to come to school to learn.
My students are overcoming special circumstances along with special learning needs.
It brings my heart joy when they master a new letter, letter sound, or number. They are so proud of their progress when this happens. My kids also show great support for each other when a classmate learns something new.
My Project
My students learn best when they can put their hands on learning materials. Learning letters, sounds, and numbers are critical skills for the future success of the students. They have to build on that knowledge forever.
Having these items will give my kids multiple opportunities to physically learn and manipulate letters and numbers.
This will go a long way toward their future schooling. My students will build letters and numbers out of lines and curves using the letter and number activity centers. They will become fluent with recognition of these letters and numbers so that they can focus on the skills necessary to read, write, and count.
