My Students

My students are wonderful second graders! They love to spend their day working on social-emotional skills as well as academics. They love team building. They enjoy hands-on projects with the ability to move around the room.

We get along well and are always learning new things.

We work together well and this takes being able to sit by each other. We build on each other as we learn. We celebrate each others' successes and learn from each others' mistakes. We are a real team.

My Project

Students learn best when using hands-on learning. We are looking to buy math games to mix learning and fun. Students will play in partners and groups to build social skills as well as math skills.

When using math games, students will enjoy learning.

Math can be hard but when we use games to reinforce learning, students do not realize that they are building their skills. Hands-on learning will also help students who are visual learners.

As a teacher, it is our job to help children while also enjoy school. Students who enjoy school are more likely to attend and learn while attending. Adding fun learning games to the classroom can create this type of environment.
