My Project

The rug, floor cushions and lamps will be used to make the classroom environment more welcoming and comfortable for students. A comfortable environment makes the students feel welcome and safe which helps build a classroom community and free exchange of ideas.

The card stock, chart paper, pencils, markers will help the students with their projects and assignments.

Students engage in project based learning to create a hands-on engaging learning environment. The shelves, rolling cart and drawers will be used for students to turn in assignments and also help organize all the new student supplies.

The students will benefit from all of the different materials using them to continue on the project based learning journey and build a classroom environment that is safe and welcoming.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
