My Students

Last year really turned our world upside down with a pandemic. We are in school full time this year and we are continuing the use of our Makerspaces in our library. Our students really look forward to our Makerspace days in the library!

My Project

I see every student in our building and we have Makerspace time every other week. These students love to get their hands on whatever they can to create something. From the time I started Makerspaces in the library, students have been engaged. What will happen next? Have you seen this? I wonder if? How can we? All questions I hear on a regular basis during our time together. Students are always asking me what we are going to create next. They really use their imaginations and are super creative! Our students have really enjoyed all things fidget the last few years. We will be making our own version of a fidget with the water beads and balloons. More commonly known as a stress ball. We also have a cricut cutting machine in our library so our students will use the cricut to cut a design to put on a new keychain!
