My Project

We are requesting donations for a class set (35 books) of The Underground Abductor. This novel is a part of the Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales series.

Reading these graphic novels would support many of our ML and special education students who benefit from learning with visuals and simple sentences.

Additionally, this Social Studies class novel would be an opportunity for all students to advance in literacy skills. It would provide an engaging story as a foundation for teaching unit vocabulary and content. We plan to read and analyze the novel in April during our Slavery and Civil War unit. The class set of books would be utilized every year with a new group of 8th grade history students. Thank you for your support!
