My Students

Help my students learn their multiplication facts in a fun way! Memorizing the times tables is so important for students, but they are bored with flash cards. Using a handheld game device would allow the students to be more entertained and motivated to learn the facts!

I work at a Title 1 school in Nevada.

I am an inclusion teacher, which means I have general education students and several special students in the class integrated together. The needs of the students range from well-below grade level to well-above. Many of the students also speak English as a second language. My students inspire me every day to work towards finding new and better ways to teach them. They are amazing!

My Project

I am hoping to receive 26 Multiplication Master Electronic Flash Cards games. The Multiplication Master is a handheld game that provides repeated practice to learn facts 0-12. It has two skill levels and fun sound effects to motivate the kids. I think they'll love using these much more than the note cards I've made for them to use!

The number one concern that I hear from teachers in grades 4 and 5 at my school is that the students do not have their multiplication facts memorized.

I want to completely prepare them for fourth grade and beyond by helping them memorize facts 0-12.
