I can't think of a better way to spend my days than with a classroom full of energetic students. My 7- and 8-year-olds are inquisitive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. We live in a rural low-income community. Over 50% of our students qualify for free and reduced-price lunches. I strive to provide them with all of the available knowledge I can with the resources available to me.
They love to learn and they love to be in school.
We do a wide range of hands-on activities to keep our bodies busy while keeping our minds engaged. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies to meet individual needs. My students are truly amazing in all that they do and in how they perform. Every day is productive and enjoyable.
My Project
Improving what my students are doing in the classroom and keeping learning exciting and fun is a priority. I am always looking for and trying new ways to have my students practicing the much needed skills they need for math!
Providing interactive learning games for my students to engage in sneaks in the skills as they play.
My students will have fun practicing and applying what we are learning in the classroom. I look forward to using these games for years to come. I am excited to see the growth of my students after implementing the hands-on activities into their daily learning!
