Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Children everywhere are behind in schools because of the pandemic our world faces today. Young students in my class have been affected by COVID with sickness, family members becoming ill, parents losing their jobs, depressed, and affected by restrictions so much where it has made an impact on their lives and learning. I want to create a positive educational environment for my kindergartners to learn how to read and write their letters and sight words.

My Project

My students will love using their fine motor skills all while reviewing their letters they have worked so hard to learn. They will enjoy spelling words with the magnet tiles all while having fun building. They will also love searching for letters and unlocking the uppercase and lowercase letter locks with letter keys. These activities will help to remind my students what they have worked so hard learning their letters and sounds. The best part is, they will enjoy using these fun activities while working together with their peers and build their confidence in reading.
