Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to provide my students access to a microphone and speaker set. I will use it to support students with oral language and speaking skills.

Students have the opportunity to further develop their public speaking in a class setting, and experience the power of their voices.

Students will also use the speaker and microphone to have the option to use the microphone during whole group discourse, group and independent presentations.

Students will also have the ability to use the speaker and microphone during readers' theatre, class discourse on specific topics, and other meaningful collaborative activities in subjects such as Social Studies, Performing Arts, English Language Arts, Speech, Math, Science, and classroom community building.
