Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In 3K we are constantly learning about the words around us. My students are hands on learners. Not only do we often learning through play but we learn through questioning. Lately, my students have been interested in gardening and the foods we eat.

I would love to foster their curiosity is in gardening.

My students get so excited when we bring "real world" into the classroom. This project would not only allow them to understand gardening and eating through books and videos, this would allow my students to undergo the important process of gardening. The hydroponic aero gardens would allow my students to grow different things. One for flowers and the other for vegetables. I have asked for a vareity of seed pods to give my students diversity and choice. When our vegetables are ready to eat, we would use the plates and fork to have a salsa party. The flowers would be for Mother's Day. What better way to gift their parent with something they've grown from their own classroom?
