Little Einsteins At Work

My students need a Lakeshore Pre-Kindergarten Science Kit.

I teach kindergarten in a high poverty school in South Carolina. My school operates on an extended day schedule. The majority of our students arrive at school between 7:00 and 7:15 and depart at 4:45 Monday through Thursday of each week.

A major part of the kindergarten curriculum is learning centers. My students LOVE center time. Kindergarten students learn so much through centers. There is so much learning and excitement going on during this time each day. The students are learning Math, Reading, Writing, social skills, and so much more! The Science center is a great center for hands-on activities where the students can explore and learn about the world around them. However, I do not have the necessary materials needed to give my students many scientific opportunities.

A Science kit with multiple activities specifically geared towards the developmental level of kindergarten students would give my students the opportunities to become "Little Einsteins"!

Please help my "Little Einsteins"! Your contribution will help ignite and stretch the minds of young children. Thank you in advance for your support in my students' and future students' educational needs.
