Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the project goal of ensuring each student is able to have their own individual copy of "Night" by Ellie Wiesel, reading and engagement will be able to transpire at home as well as in the classroom!

I love my students' desire to learn new material and connect literary ideas to historical events.

Once my project is fulfilled, it is my goal for students to gain knowledge and insight into the roots of antisemitism and how genocide can develop. Additionally, students will be able to see the importance of first-person memoirs and how they preserve historical literature to offer unique insight.
