Literature Circle Books for High School Seniors

Help me give my students fun books for their last literary circles during their senior year of high school such as the high-interest mystery book A Good Girl's Guide to Murder.

My Project

My English IV class is in need of books for their high-interest literary circles unit. The curriculum for English IV is heavy with post-secondary skills, college essays, and research-based projects. I would like the last unit of English IV to be of high interest to the students so that they have some fun with reading - literature circles - and practice independent and time management skills.

I would like the Good Girl's Guide to Murder to be the anchor text to expose my students to mysteries and metacognitive skills.

After this, I would like them to have a choice of their own high-interest book for literature circles. This includes books such as The Good Son: A Novel and Wrecked. I think they would love to use them as they work collaboratively while having fun while reading.

These books will help my students and the classroom library as they will serve my students for years to come. I know my students will enjoy them.
