My Project

The students in the Literacy Learning Lab would greatly benefit from mobile organizers and zipper pouches to support literacy games and instructional materials. These tools would be extremely valuable in creating a well-organized, efficient learning space where students can easily store and move materials between their small groups and intervention sessions. By reducing time spent searching for supplies, students can focus more on learning, and can spend more time actively practicing essential literacy skills such as phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

The addition of mobile organizers and zipper pouches will help to keep each literacy game or activity organized and complete by storing all pieces—such as cards, letter tiles, and recording sheets—in one place.

I plan to clearly label the pouches will also make it easier to provide differentiated activities that meet students at their individual skill levels. The zipper pouches will help minimize lost materials, minimize disruptions, and allow students to stay focused and engaged during their scheduled intervention times.

Overall, these resources will be such a valuable investment in our Literacy Learning Lab to increase organization, maximize instructional time, boost student engagement, and support meaningful growth in reading and writing skills.
